Use displays for menus, promotions, reception information and internal notices with a practical publishing process. I review the equipment, set up suitable software and help staff manage the screens.
A screen is useful when it shows current information at the right time. If updates require someone to visit each display or work around an awkward system, content quickly becomes stale.
I discuss what each location needs to show, who prepares the content and how often it changes. That helps select the publishing, scheduling and remote-management functions that will actually be used.
Understand what can be reused
Tell me the number of screens, their models and locations, any players attached to them and the software you use now. I assess the equipment, network and access before recommending replacements.
Where suitable equipment can remain, we plan around it. Where a player or connectivity change is needed, the quote explains why and includes the additional cost.
Retail promotions and product information.
Menu boards and scheduled information changes.
Reception, visitor and customer notices.
Internal displays supporting staff communication.
Give staff a workable publishing process
I set up the agreed system and help the team understand everyday updates, schedules and the process if a display stops showing the right content. We establish who can publish and who takes responsibility for keeping information current.
Your content may be supplied in existing formats or need a separately scoped preparation project. The publishing workflow should fit the staff and equipment involved. Any wider integration is agreed as additional work.
Know the subscription and setup costs
Display subscriptions start at £20 per month per independently managed display. The written quote confirms the software package, compatible equipment, included support and contract terms.
Hardware, installation, initial setup, content creation and additional personal support are priced separately. Video walls or shared-player arrangements are quoted around their actual configuration.

Plan a switch from your existing system
I can assess the current software, equipment and publishing arrangements, then coordinate the move. Preparation includes account access, the content needed at launch and checks at the actual displays.
The handover gives staff a useful explanation of the setup and support responsibilities. If signage is part of a wider technology project, I can coordinate it with the network and other business systems.
Discuss your display setup
I am based in Bournemouth and provide on-site work across Dorset and through to Southampton. A free discovery meeting normally lasts 30–45 minutes, at your premises or online, and helps establish the requirement and possible directions.
Send the number of displays, location, equipment or software details and what needs to appear on screen. Digital signage can be commissioned directly. Consultancy and separately scoped technical work use the standard £80 hourly rate, with project quotes available.
Digital signage questions
Can we keep our existing screens?
I assess the display and player models, connectivity and required software before confirming what can be reused.
Does the monthly price include installation?
Installation, equipment and setup are separate unless explicitly included in your written proposal. The subscription package and support are confirmed before proceeding.
Can you train our staff to update the content?
Yes. Setup can include a practical handover and training for the people responsible for the displays.
